STATEMENT ON PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEO AND BRAND RECOGNITION

The Western States Affiliates (WSA) has exclusive contracts regarding the sale and distribution of photographs and video, or any other reproduction at the M+S Celebration. WSA reserves the right to regulate access to the horse show facilities and to determine the use of the facilities by any vendor, photographer, videographer or any other individuals or parties.

Commercial Photographers are limited to the Official Horse Show Photographer and Videographer and to Press Photographers credentialed by The M+S Celebration. Press photographers or videographers (anyone taking images or video for TV, newspapers, and periodic print or digital publications) will be required to obtain a press pass from M+S Celebration and display it at all times.

Professional and/or commercial photography or video (any photography/video taken for resale purposes or advertisement) at the M+S Celebration without prior written consent of WSA is expressly forbidden. Professional social media coverage is considered commercial photography or video, unless provided by a recognized magazine or digital publication, and therefore is not eligible for press credentials. This includes professional “lifestyle” and/or “influencer” content creation. Exhibitors have the option of contracting with the official show photographer and/or videographer for specific coverage during the show or for photo shoots on the show grounds for advertising and social media distribution.

This policy will be strictly enforced. Violation of this policy will result in removal from the show grounds and revocation of admission for the current and/or future shows. In addition, any images related to these events; photo, video, or brand recognition are the sole property of WSA and will be vehemently defended under the United States Federal Copy Right Infringement Laws. Any unauthorized use of The M+S Celebration logo is strictly prohibited.

Distribution And Use of M+S Celebration Official Social Media

While we encourage sharing of images, video and graphics posted to the official M+S Celebration Facebook page, industry protocol and professional consideration requires the retention of the Celebration watermark when sharing. All content posted to our social media accounts, including but not limited to photographs, designs, graphics, and video, is the property of Western States Affiliates, governing body of The M+S Celebration and are protected by United States and international copyright laws.
